The training tower shall be located near the end of the training ground to allow space for a runway, and a 1.5 m sand pit shall be provided in front of the tower.
The number of floors of the training tower shall not be less than four. In cities with more high-rise buildings, the number of floors may be increased appropriately.
There shall be no fewer than two windows on each floor on the front side of the training tower, and the distance between the windows (measured along the wall) shall be 1.0 m.
The size of each window of the training tower shall be 1.2 m × 1.8 m. The distance between the window and the edge of the tower shall not be less than 0.65 m. The width of the windowsill shall be 0.35 m, and the thickness of the windowsill plate shall be 0.05 m (protruding 5 cm from the tower wall). The height of each windowsill above the floor level shall be 0.8 m. The floor height shall be 3.5 m. There shall be an internal staircase with a clear width of not less than 0.7 m, and the diameter of the handrail tube shall not be less than 0.026 m.
A platform not less than 1.5 m wide shall be provided inside each floor of the training tower, and a platform shall also be provided on the top floor.
The training tower shall be equipped with outdoor fire ladders. The fire ladder shall reach the top of the tower and shall begin at a height of 3 m above the ground. Its width shall not be less than 50 cm.
